Configure D-Link Modem for LAN/WiFi Connection

Nowadays Internet is playing major role in our work and study as well as entertainment etc. So we need Internet, so mostly we are taking Broadband Connection which easy and affordable for users. So I am sharing tutorial regarding "How to Configure your D-Link Modem for LAN/ WiFi or Both". I am sharing this tutorial with related images which also help in understanding tutorial easily and accurate.

Configure D-Link Modem for LAN/WiFi Connection


Now connect your Modem to PC/ Laptop using Ethernet cable and follow some steps:

1. Open browser (Chrome, Internet Explorer etc)

2. Now enter "192.168.1.1"

3. Than they asked for username and password so Enter "admin" in both place and login to Modem

4. Now you see many options so click on "Advanced Setup"
5. Than click on "Interface Setup" and click on "ADD" button
6. Now you see ATM PVC Configuration setup window so make following Setting:
    VPI: 0
    VCI: 35
    Encapsulation mode: LLC/SNA Bridging
    Service category: UBR without PCR

7. And click on "Apply/Save"

8. Now click on WAN Service (Located in Left Side Option)

9. Now click on "ADD" option and click Next

10. Than select "POP over Ethernet (PPPoE)" and click Next
11. Now they ask for POP Username and password, so enter Broadband username and password which yor are got from your Service Provider like BSNL, Airtel, Docomo etc.
12. After that click on Next and After that Click on Next Button

13. Now click on Apply/Save Button and save all setting of your Modem.

14. Now click on Management Option

15. and Click on Reboot Option

16. After rebooting your Modem, just restart your PC/ Laptop and Modem

17. Now start surfing and using of Internet using D-Link Modem.
